What is the problem?

The long term care system is complex, fragmented, and confusing for consumers and families.

How can it be fixed?

• Eliminate the institutional bias and allow people a choice of community or institutional services.
• Expand and improve the Family Care program.
• Provide funding assistance to all counties to create a "one-stop shopping" source of information and assistance.
