Mental Health Services:

What is the problem?

People with mental illness do not have access to the treatment and services they need.

How can it be fixed?

• Invest $40 million in the Medicaid program to fully fund community support programs, crisis intervention, and targeted case management.
• Invest $2 million to continue the four Mental Health/Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Redesign Project demonstration sites.
• Pass mental health insurance parity legislation.
