WCDD Legislative and Budget Platforms

The Wisconsin Council on Developmental Disabilities was established by federal law and state statute to engage in advocacy, capacity building, systemic change activities, and to advise the governor and legislature about issues concerning people with developmental disabilities.

In this section you will find legislative and budget platforms developed by the Council. These platforms form the basis of the Council’s advocacy efforts during a legislative session.

The 2007 - 2009 Budget Platform emphasizes the budget issues that the Council identified as priorities for the 2007-2009 legislative session
